The Holiday Season Has Begun!

The Christmas Season is one of my absolute favorite times of the year. I love the sights, sounds, smells and feeling of the season. I enjoy listening to Christmas music all day in the background while I work around the house. It's a time of good will, memories and family traditions. Baking cookies and making crafts with my kids is a highlight for me and them!

Julie at Joyful Days is hosting a wonderful collection of blog posts called Blessed By Ideals and the Best Gift of All. Stop by and gather some holiday cheer while reading how everyone celebrates the holidays and "The True Meaning of Christmas."

Thanksgiving and Snow Flurries

We had a great Thanksgiving! We spent the holiday together as a family, watched movies, did more crafts and had loads of fun. It was a totally awesome family day! Our big celebration won't be till Sunday as I had to work part of the holiday and we're all eagerly looking forward to it.

We also had a surprise....SNOW! We don't get much snow where we live so each time we do, it is a special occasion. This holiday we had snow flurries and it was so beautiful to see! The boys were sad that it didn't accumulate though they had a blast romping around in it. It lasted about 1 hour and really added a special touch to our day.

Hope y'all had a wonderful and scrumptious holiday!

Halloween Fun 2007

I’m so behind on posting all of our Halloween Fun. The kids had a blast this year! I didn’t get hardly any pictures at the Pumpkin Patch but we did get some excellent pics of the pumpkins that Dad and the boys made.

Pea Jr. and Lil' Pea with the pumpkin’s they chose at the Pumpkin Patch.  Dad helped both boys carve out their pumpkins ~ They turned out really nice and the boys had a blast!

We attended our Fall Festival our neighborhood had. Our oldest went as a hobo and our youngest went as a Pirate Hobo. They both won medals at the costume contest.

A VISIT FROM THE GREAT PUMPKIN!

The kids went through there candy and reluctantly graciously set aside 2/3rds for the Great Pumpkin.

That kind Great Pumpkin left our boys a A Creepy Crawly Bug Making Oven!!!

The boys spent most of Thursday through now creating creepy crawlies and setting them out for me to find and be “creeped out”!

I do have to say the spiders, if set in a dark hallway really do look real….especially at 6 am on the way to the bathroom ~ LOL!
